Very nice modern bistro with lovely welcoming staff, knowledgeable waiters and great food. Beef burger was amazing with a lovely dry aged taste and excellent beef patty. Nice quality bun. Overall very good meal for 17, a bit pricy but you taste the quality. Keen to return for the steak. Decent wine selection also.

This was a nice surprise in Tettenhall. The service from everyone thee was warm and efficient. The food (eggs and bacon) was fantastic. As I don't live here I can only say it's great value compared to London, but it was very busy on a Saturday morning.

Came for a mixed meat Sunday roast and definitely was not disappointed!! All of it was cooked to perfection and the iced latte with oat milk was just as delicious. You can also ask for extra vegetables and gravy if wanted. Generous portion and very filling! It was 2 courses for 28 which is great value. I had apricot and almond bakewell tart which also tasted insane (I wasn't keen on the drizzle of sauce on the plate but everything else was perfect). Staff were lovely and helpful. Pay to park available nearby. Need to book in advance on a weekend as they fill up quickly. Have recommended to others already and will definitely be back!

A cosy bistro ideal for couples and families, the menu is filled with locally sourced quality ingredients. We had the pork scratchings as a snack, which were the biggest I've ever seen - only for those with strong teeth! For starters we shared the squid, then the carnitas tacos. I recommend a steak as a main. We had a rump steak to share as it's slightly bigger at 10oz. Definitely upgrade the fries to their fantastic triple cooked chips! The pork belly was also tasty.

Went for Brunch as it was my Husband's birthday. Food was amazing, my Husband had the pork sandwich with roast potatoes and I had the the Turkish flatbread. Both were absolutely amazing, will definitely be back probably for an evening meal. The Manager and the young lady that served us were lovely and very helpful, had a conversation with both of them. Also the Manager took my Husband's glass of wine off the bill because it was his birthday, which we thought was a lovely gesture.

Possibly the best Sunday roast for miles around! Good value for money, excellent service and great food quality. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable, nothing was too much trouble. We ate at 2:15 and tables have approx a 2 hour turn around. Each course arrives promptly, obviously to stick to the table turn around timings, but at no point did we feel rushed. We ate across the entire menu (except the vegetarian choice) and every meat was excellent. Vegetables were fresh and tasty with top-ups as you wish! Desserts were all fantastic - we didn’t have the cheese board. The restaurant has a cafe/bistro ambience and due to the L shaped dining room, prevents the feeling of there being a ‘buzz’, hence the slightly lower score for atmosphere. But overall an excellent Sunday lunch with an attentive, friendly serving team and chefs who venture out to say ‘hi!’ to top off the visit. Really worth a visit - but plan ahead and book otherwise you may find yourself missing out!

I was venturing into Wolverhampton at around lunchtime on a Sunday and thought I'd give this place a try. It was located on a road with a little parade of shops in a quiet village-like spot on the outskirts of town with a nice park nearby. I noticed on their website they were fully booked but they were able to squeeze me. I would suggest making a reservation for Sunday lunch normally, as they're busy for a reason. I opted for the mixed roast to try every meat and the only larger on tap (Purity), which was crisp and refreshing. Service started at 2pm. Menus and prices are on their website. I was brought a number is side dishes; a bowl of mixed greens (mainly green cabbage with some tender stem broccoli), 4 roast small roast potatoes, a braised red cabbage and a gratin (effectively cauliflower cheese to us commoners), along with a generously sized pot of gravy. The bonus on portions is if you finish these sides (except the cauliflower cheese) you can get seconds free of charge. All of these sides were of a good standard and complimented the roast well. As for the meats, you receive a relatively well presented plate; a classic traditional slice of roast beef (perfectly rare), a tender slice of roast pork with some fat around the edges and a slice of slow cooked lamb which reminded me of meatloaf (still tasty but probably my least favourite of the three)... As you only get a slice of each, I wouldn't describe the meat portions as generous, although the beef slice is rather large. If I came again, I'd go for the beef. Your plate of meats is rounded of with a freshly homemade Yorkshire pudding, a swede and carrot mash, a little piece of crackling, a tiny fried ball of pork sausage and a dollop of apple puree. I finished with a sticky toffee pudding a la mode (with a scoop of vanilla ice cream). I should have asked if there was a a la carte option to the menu as I really didn't need the desert but I only saw it as a two course meal on their website. The restaurant is adequately staffed with warm and well trained waiters/waitresses who know how to upsell without being pushy and the decor has a bistro/brasserie feel. The ambience was pleasant with some popular rock tracks from the likes of Kings of Leon and Biffy Clyro playing in the background, but not loud enough to make it uncomfortable to hear your dining companion. This is roast dinner is top tier. I can think of very few that I've had in my life that could compete. Nothing will beat your gran's, if you have/had a gran like mine... But this really is excellent value for money. You'd pay double for something of this quality in London and would struggle to find something to compete with this. 5/5, A, well done.
